Millions of crimes have been committed on their platforms. They can be seized, and auctioned off like the Ferrari of a drug dealer.

You may say, how is that legal. In 1827, the Supreme Court ruled, no accusation was being made against the person, with his Fifth Amendment due process right, but against the thing, with no protection.

I think they do better under Democratic Party administrations. To use one example. The rules designed to prevent a mortgage crisis drove all small and medium banks out of the mortgage market. The cost of regulatory compliance made loans unprofitable. That left the mortgage market entirely to the huge banks. Billionaires love big government, and its protection of their monopoly status.

In the case of the internet billionaires, they have no competition. They have legal immunity. They exploit public infrastructure, including cheap postal services. Guy wants to renegotiate, they want him dead and gone.

Trump has narrow knowledge of NY real estate. He has no deep knowledge of this exploitation. Yet, he is such a threat, they want him impeached, at any cost. The real Americans that put him in office know better. They feel the weight of government oppression every day, every way they turn.

If Trump fails, these billionaires should think about the guy the real Americans are going to put in the White House after him.

The sole way to drop the number of suicides in the United States is eyesight supervision.

The greatest achievement in psychiatry of the 20th Century was the reduction of suicide inside the prisons of the United States by 80%. That was done at no additional expense, with no new treatment program, no staffing, nothing, save a change in policy by the wardens of our prisons. Imagine applying this achievement to the nation and having 9000 suicides and not 45,000. It is the 10th leading cause of death, but the leading cause destroying productive years. 

Here is the prison manual that reviewed this methodology and outcomes. The reason this policy is effective is that all suicidal urges are temporary. Many are impulsive and last for seconds.

Maddening that the Army is not listening. Suicide advocacy is not listening. VA is not listening. We lose a vet to suicide each hour. Suicide has taken more of our active duty warriors than the enemy. Each had an investment in them by the tax payer of $hundreds of thousands. The investment would be in the $millions if a flag officer is lost. Now adolescent suicide is soaring. Please, do not be among those who ignore this  self evident remedy.

As a generality, throwing off colonial power has been a very bad idea. The horrific results in the Third World need no mention.

That principle applies to the US. Lawyers decided to have a violent revolution in 1776.  Taxes had gone from 1% of GDP to 2% of GDP, but falling mostly on the wealthy landed gentry. These taxes were to fund the expensive military campaigns to protect these landed gentry from marauding Indian tribes seeking to exclude the British  illegal aliens. So thousands were killed an maimed. The British authority was expelled.

Had we remained a British colony, slavery would have ended in 1833, not 1863. Abolition would have been enforced by a Sheriff, and not by a war that killed 850,000. Race relations would not have required 100 more years to improve.

We would be more like Canada, a reasonable not an extremist people, ruled by a Parliament.

Our mistake is dwarfed by that of that other lawyer mistake, the independence of India, led by Mahatma Gandhi. That one caused the deaths of millions of people in mutual ethnic cleansing. It plunged two nations into deep poverty, and set off many later wars.
